APPLICATION

These Highland Rising kerbs provide excellent security and positive traffic control of vehicles into and out of restricted areas. The low lift model rises to 353mm and is normally used for traffic control and car park areas. Standard features include Pneumatic or Hydraulic operation with remote power and control cabinets. Heavy duty cables and hoses are used to connect the rising kerb to the cabinet. If power failure occurs the manual ball valves enable lowering of the kerb.

After construction two coats of paint are applied. A coat of red oxide and a coat of electrostatically applied rubber paint, Alternate colours and combinations are available on request red and black, yellow and black etc.....

CONSTRUCTION

A heavy duty chequer anti skid top plate give a 17 tonne axle loading capacity when lowered. Crash linkage bars protect the mechanism, cushioned cylinders power the blocker up as it pivots on multi-sealed bearings.

CONTROL CABINET & ELECTRIC'S

Within the control cabinet, all the electrical relays and contractors, together with the power/pack pump with modular stacking valve gear and pressure relief/speed adjuster.

Fluid reservoir contains suction filter and breather filler cap with level gauge.

The unit requires a 3 phase, 415V, 15amp, 50Hz, supply at the control cabinet. Units requiring single phase, 240V, 50Hz and other special voltages are available.

SYSTEM CONTROL OPTIONS

Include multi or single session consoles using remote or local push button operation, card access, digital code, key switch, token or coin systems, remote control systems include VHF or infra red. Vehicle detection and recognition systems, traffic lights, CCTV surveillance, photo electric cells, and speech communications, usually through programmable logic controllers.

Emergency hand pump to raise and lower the blocker if power failure occurs, Extra powered locking bolts to hold the block when raised if power failure occurs.
